Sure the "green" wheel cleaners work fine but when you have an Escalade with 100k miles worth of brake dust on the rims, you need an extra kick.
What you see remaining is actually rust
I had no idea these were even chrome. I thought they were brushed aluminum at first.

wtf? The last one is like its another wheel. I also didn't expect to scroll down and see chrome.

That "green" shit doesn't seem to work half of the time.

I don't know why more people don't know about wheel acid. Either they don't know it exists, or maybe it's not available everywhere. Either way, I scratch my head anytime someone complains about their complicated multispoke wheels being too much work to clean inside all the spokes. If you need it clean, don't bother with a wheel cleaner if it doesn't have a corrosive warning label on the bottle.

it works but you just have to be careful with that strong shit, you don't want it to eat anything
I've found that the most aggressive off the shelf stuff you can buy seems to be Eagle One. That stuff will eat your skin

Yeah our shit does too but subtly.

That's extremely impressive!

when I used to work detailing, whoever was the acid guy got to stand around and do nothing but watch while the acid worked. No windows, no bucket filling or rinsing. Just waiting with a hose.

Lucky. It's way too hot to do windows and the salesmen can't wrap their heads around that. "Hurr durr they're all streaky". Well no shit it's 95 degrees and 100% humidity.

Personal fave is when they used to come grab the cars right after washing thm and put the windows down. The best was when they parked them and put them back up. No one would answer the phone right after. Shitheads. My boss went over and gave the sales manager a roll of paper towel and a bottle of windex. If they want to screw up the work, they can fix it. If they weren't disgusting in the summer, we would just roll them down for them so we didn't have to deal. Then they could get the blame anyway.
